Islamic Museum of Australia

The Islamic Museum of Australia showcases and preserves the arts, history and culture of Islam in Australia and abroad. It is a not-for-profit organisation that is located in the northern Melbourne suburb of Thornbury.

In between this Gallery building and the new entry and administration part of the Museum is a Courtyard, that not only acts a metaphorical link to the Australian bush but also provides natural ventilation through glass louvres.

  • Islamic Architecture
  • Australian Muslim History
