Cambridge Muslim College’s aim, by Allah’s grace, is to supply education at the very highest level for Muslims based on the values of Islam and the most authentic classical Islamic scholarship, whilst being aware of the nature of modernity and the contemporary contexts we live in.
Based in Cambridge, Great Britain, the College provides Academic Programmes, Courses and Lecture series.
The College was established by its Dean, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, who was educated at Cambridge, Al-Azhar and London Universities. He is currently the Shaykh Zayed Lecturer of Islamic Studies in the Faculty of Divinity at Cambridge University and Director of Studies in Theology at Wolfson College. He is well-known as a contributor to BBC 4’s ‘Thought for the Day’.
