Prophet's Tradition
Nine Things
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said he had been commanded to do nine things by God, which are:-
- Fearing God in private and in public;
- Being just, whether in anger or in calmness;
- Being moderate in both poverty and affluence;
- Joining hands with those who break away from me;
- Giving to those who deprive me;
- Forgiving those who wrong me;
- Letting my silence be meditation;
- and my words – remembrance of God;
- and my vision – keen observation.
