The Mirrors of Manifestation
Khwaja Nasir ad-Din Ubayd Allah al-Ahrar (may God sanctify his innermost being), the twentieth Shaykh in the Naqshbandi Golden Chain and at the same time, the eleventh Khwaja of the ‘Khwajagan’ – the Masters of Wisdom of Central Asia, said the following:-
“The tongue is the mirror of the heart, the heart is the mirror of the spirit, the spirit is the mirror of the human reality, and the human reality is the mirror of God. The realities of the Unseen cross all this distance and these steps to reach the tongue. That is where they take verbal form and reach the ears of those who are ready to hear.”
